PROJECTS

Bespoke Recording does not operate as a typical commercial studio. Not every project is right for this studio, just as I am not right for every project. I prefer to focus on the somewhat lost art of creating "albums", not just recording songs. If your project does not fit neatly into the following list, I may decline the project because it does not closely match my needs. This is not a reflection on the merits of your project! Being a private studio, I have the luxury of accepting work that closely aligns with my artistic goals as opposed to having to give equal weight to financial considerations. Thank you for understanding.


PROJECT SELECTION CRITERIA

I seek projects that:
  • inspire me musically
  • have all band-members in place, rehearsed, and ready to record
  • will properly credit my role in the project
  • will compliment my discography
  • will promote the finished record
I avoid projects that:
  • involve those who want to self-produce
  • would not all be recorded here
  • would be recorded at any tuning other than A=440Hz
  • are not intended to be marketed and distributed
  • include people who express difficulty with the studio rules

The studio is located in my home. As such, the studio rules are enforced for the well-being and safety of my family. No exceptions.

STUDIO RULES
  1. No current coronavirus infections
  2. No smoking - smokers, please read
  3. No alcohol unless pre-approved
  4. No detectable perfume, cologne, or other fragrances in the studio
  5. No guests who have not been pre-approved
  6. No drugs or weapons are allowed
  7. Be prepared for your session and be on time
